command
orvio pull
Downloads the current release of <product>, checks its size and SHA-256, and only then writes its files into [path] (default: ./<product>).
Usage#
Terminal
$ orvio pull <product> [path]
Downloads the current release of <product>, checks its size and SHA-256, and only then writes its files into [path] (default: ./<product>). Existing files are never overwritten; they are skipped and listed. Only the latest release can be pulled.
Arguments#
| Name | Required | What it does |
|---|---|---|
product | yes | The product's identifier, for example sotto. |
path | no | The folder to write into. Default ./<product>. It is created when it does not exist. |
Every command also accepts -h or --help.
Example#
The example ran the real CLI against a local stand-in for Orvio with a synthetic product, so names and numbers differ from yours. The words are exactly what the CLI prints.
Terminal
$ orvio pull fixture-studio Added 4 files from Fixture Studio 1.2.0 to ./fixture-studio. Your framework and existing files were kept. $ orvio pull fixture-studio Skipped 4 files (nothing was overwritten): orvio.json (already exists) source/css/site.css (already exists) source/index.html (already exists) source/js/main.js (already exists) Added 0 files from Fixture Studio 1.2.0 to ./fixture-studio. Your framework and existing files were kept.
If it fails#
The CLI prints one message and exits with a code. 1 is an access or usage problem; 2 is a network or service problem.
