Connect another AI tool
The general steps for any AI tool that supports remote MCP servers with browser sign-in.
Orvio's server follows the standard remote MCP flow, so other tools can connect the same way as Claude. Only Claude is tested. Cursor, ChatGPT and Windsurf support remote MCP servers; we have not tested them with Orvio, so we do not promise they work.
What your tool needs#
- Support for remote MCP servers over HTTP (Streamable HTTP).
- Browser sign-in (OAuth), so you can approve the connection in a browser.
Tools that only start local servers, or that ask you to paste a key, cannot connect. Orvio has no keys to paste.
Steps#
Find where your tool adds a remote MCP server
Look for Connectors, Integrations, MCP or Tools in its settings.
Add the server address
Paste this address. Use the name
Orvioif your tool asks for one.Server addresshttps://mcp.orvio.design/mcpApprove in your browser
Your tool opens an Orvio page. Sign in and choose Allow. Each tool gets its own authorization.
Ask for a product
Use the request from Connect Claude, or any from the Prompt library.
What happens behind the scenes#
Your tool finds Orvio's sign-in details at the server's standard discovery addresses, registers itself, and sends you to the approval page. Every request after that is checked against your sign-in, the approval you gave and your membership.
If it does not connect#
- Check that the address is exactly
https://mcp.orvio.design/mcp. - Check that your account has an active membership. Without one, your tool signs in but cannot fetch source.
- Make sure your tool allows a browser to open for sign-in.
- See Errors and fixes and Troubleshooting.
Not working with your tool? Write to support@orvio.design with the tool's name and what it shows. We use that to decide what to test next.
