Sign in
Sign in with your browser once; each device is approved separately.
orvio login opens your browser, you approve this device, and the CLI stores a sign-in that refreshes itself.
Steps#
Run the command
Terminal$ orvio loginApprove in your browser
The CLI opens an Orvio page. Sign in and choose Allow. If no browser opens, the link is printed too: open it yourself.
See the result
TerminalOpening your browser to sign in to Orvio. If it doesn't open, visit this link: https://… Signed in as you@example.com. This device appears in Account › Integrations.
What the CLI registers#
On the first sign-in, the CLI registers this computer with Orvio under the name Orvio CLI on followed by the computer's name. Signing in again reuses that registration. The device appears in Account → Integrations, where you can remove it.
Check who you are#
$ orvio info
It prints your email and your plan. If you have a payment problem or a seat that is ending, a heads-up follows. See Membership and access.
Sign out#
$ orvio logout
This removes the device's authorization at Orvio and deletes the tokens stored on your computer. If Orvio cannot be reached, the tokens stay, so you can run it again. If the device was already removed in Account, orvio logout still finishes cleanly.
Sessions that expire#
The CLI refreshes its access by itself. If the refresh is refused, the message is: "Your Orvio session expired. Sign in again with orvio login; nothing else changes."
Without a browser on this machine#
Set ORVIO_NO_BROWSER=1 so the CLI prints the link and does not try to open a browser.
$ ORVIO_NO_BROWSER=1 orvio login
Different website#
If ORVIO_URL points elsewhere, you are signed in to that site only. Tokens are never sent to another site.
