Connect Claude to Orvio
Add Orvio as a custom connector in Claude, approve it once in your browser, and ask for a product.
At the end, Claude can search the catalog, read any product's pages, components and design tokens, and add them to your project. You approve the connection once, in your browser.
Before you start#
- An Orvio account with an active membership (Individual, Team, or free access granted by Orvio).
- Claude with custom connectors (claude.ai or the Claude desktop app).
Steps#
Copy the server address
One address for the whole catalog.

Ask for a product
Start a new chat and paste:
Try itYour first requestUsing Orvio, show me Sotto's colour tokens with their values.Works with Remote MCP·Replace the highlighted partsName the product to save a search. With an identifier from a product page, such as
sotto/page/index, Claude fetches exactly that page.
Check it works#
Claude should list colour tokens such as --sotto-blush, each with the file and line that define it.
Claude only shows a count? Start a new chat: an earlier chat may remember an older answer. If it persists, see Errors and fixes.
What to ask next#
- "List Sotto's pages, then add the home page to my project."
- "Rebuild Sotto's hero as a React component with my Tailwind theme."
More requests are in the Prompt library.
What Claude can and cannot do#
Claude can read the catalog and the files of products your membership covers. It cannot change your account or billing, and it cannot write to Orvio. Orvio shows only what its server records: it cannot see whether Claude is connected or what Claude changed in your project.
Tested with Claude in October 2026. Orvio's server follows the current Model Context Protocol specification (2026-07-28) and also answers the two earlier handshake versions, 2025-11-25 and 2025-06-18.
